Super Simple Rosemary Focaccia Bread

Making bread is so gratifying and baking a loaf of bread can qualify you as a culinary superstar. Traditionally, baking bread has a reputation as being time consuming, challenging and intimidating! What you many not realize is that making bread is, actually, ridiculously easy. Without a bread machine, freaky yeast steps and water temperatures, you can fool anyone into believing that you too are superstar baker. All it requires is you to do is toss a few basic ingredients in a bowl and, literally, walk away. This particular focaccia bread is so tasty- a sure crowd-pleaser. It’s so delicious, in fact, that it probably won’t last a day until it is completely devoured. Bake this bread, and your life will be changed forever!

 What you will need:

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt

1/2 teaspoon yeast

1 1/2 cups water (room temp)

Sprig of fresh rosemary

1.In a large bowl add the following:

1 1/2 cups water (room temp)

Gently whisk by hand, do not over mix. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and leave in room temp for 12- 18 hours.

2.When you are ready to bake, preheat the oven to 450˚.Image

Cover the bottom of the pan with olive oil.

Move dough to prepared pan.

Press dimples into the dough with your fingers.

Sprinkle with rosemary and sea salt.

Image

Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.

Remove foil and bake for an addition 20 minutes until golden
