The Dreamiest Apple Pie with Cinnamon Roll Crust

It is fall so its pie week. Please do not get sick of me, these are things you guys need to know to be successful this season! To me, this is the pie of all pies. It is filled with heavy whipping cream and the crust is an explosion of mini cinnamon rolls. It just does not get better than this when it comes to apple pies. It may appear intimidating, but once you discover just how easy this cinnamon roll crust is, you may never do a regular crust again! Happy pie making!

For cinnamon rolls you will need:

Perfect pie crust recipe: found here you will need 2 crusts 

Cinnamon

Sugar

1 tablespoon butter

You will need:

4-5 Granny Smith Apples, Peeled, Cored, And Sliced Thin

1/2 cup Brown Sugar

1/2 cup Sugar

1 Tablespoon All-purpose Flour

1 cup Heavy Cream

2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract

1/8 teaspoon Cinnamon

When you make the pie crust it calls to split the dough in half before refrigerating, you will need to use both halves. Smother dough i melted butter.

Sprinkle dough with cinnamon

Sprinkle dough with sugar

Simply roll the dough up.

Slice dough

Fill pie pan starting at rim working your way to the middle.

There will be little gaps simple push the crust down which will spread it.

Peel and slice your apples

In a bowl ad both sugars brown and white.

Add flour

add heavy whipping cream

add vanilla

Add cinnamon and stir it all up!

Add apples to mixture

Brush with an egg diluted with water, then sprinkle with large granule sugar!
